| A few words... | Young journalist Shekhar, who lives in Bombay, visits his parents in a remote village. When his falls in love with Sheila, a young Muslim woman, he creates an uproar between the two families. To be able to live together and marry, the couple leaves the village and moves to Bombay. A few years later the happily married couple has twin boys. After the demolition of the Babri Masjid in Ayodhya, riots break out in Bombay. When their house is set afire, the family members are separated in the course of the riots. The two boys being neither Hindu nor Muslim, have to survive on their own and find their parents. |
